Empowering Our Community Through Sport & Leisure
At Ameen Education Centre, we believe that staying active is about more than just physical health—it’s about building confidence, fostering teamwork, and bringing generations together. Through our partnership with Faith Associates, we have provided high-quality sporting opportunities that are inclusive, accessible, and rooted in community spirit.
🏆 Celebrating Our Success: 2024 Highlights
The Eman Cricket Cup 2024
In partnership with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), we took part in the Eman Cup—a national inter-Madrassah cricket competition.
- Who: Boys and girls aged 8–11.
- The Experience: Our young athletes had the incredible opportunity to train with professional equipment and compete in regional heats.
- The Impact: Beyond the boundaries and wickets, this programme helped our youth develop a lifelong love for cricket, learn the value of sportsmanship, and improve their physical wellbeing in a fun, supportive environment.
The Fattah Cup 2024
We were thrilled to be part of the Fattah Cup, a pioneering football tournament delivered by Faith Associates and supported by the FIFA Forward Project, the Premier League, and the London/Middlesex FA.
- This wasn't just about the players; the programme also focused on developing the next generation of community coaches and volunteers, ensuring a sustainable future for grassroots football in our area.

🌿 Active Ageing: Leisure for the Elderly
We believe that sport and leisure should be a lifelong journey. We are excited to announce a new suite of activities specifically designed for the elderly members of our community.
Loneliness and inactivity can be challenges as we age, so our "Active Golden Years" initiative focuses on gentle movement and social connection:
- Walking Sports: Enjoy the thrill of the game at a steadier pace with Walking Football and Walking Cricket.
- Gentle Movement: Seated exercise classes, Tai Chi, and stretching sessions to improve mobility and balance.
- Social Leisure: From community gardening and nature walks to board game afternoons and tea socials.
